Earlier this month, our Leadership Training Program (LTP) class got exclusive behind-the-scenes access to downtown York—led by none other than Dylan Bauer (MY 17) with Royal Square Development & Construction!🏗 Let’s just say… there are some exciting things coming to our city 👀 (but… you had to be there to hear the juicy details!) A huge shoutout to our LTP Coordinator, Kraig Hursh, for organizing these one-of-a-kind experiences for our participants. Kraig, you ROCK. 🤘 Check out our awesome group in action—what a crew!💙

What a day—and what a journey! Our incredible Future Leaders of York students wrapped up their final full-day session with reflection, action, and inspiration. 💭 Hosted by York College, the day began with a warm welcome and some fun swag bags (thank you, YCP!). Students focused on commitment—crafting personal mission statements to guide their next steps beyond FLY. The highlight? Deciding how to allocate $20,000 in grant funding (through our amazing partnership with the York County Community Foundation) after reviewing over $75,000 in requests 💸 The students thoughtfully discussed each application and made some tough decisions... 👉 Stay tuned to see which local organizations were selected to receive funding at FLY Graduation! Then it was time for the always-anticipated Luncheon with School Administrators—sponsored by Isaac’s! Students connected directly with superintendents and school leaders, asking thoughtful questions about leadership, career journeys, and the realities of guiding today’s schools. These powerful conversations helped bring their leadership learning full circle. 🙌 We’re so proud of this group and all they’ve accomplished—and there’s still one more small group session to go!

Nonprofit Leadership Academy – Session 5 💡 This week, our NLA cohort dives into one of the most essential (and sometimes intimidating!) aspects of nonprofit leadership: FUNDRAISING. We were thrilled to welcome a powerhouse panel of leaders who know what it takes to build a culture of philanthropy🎙️ 🔹 Jessica Brubaker (MY ’15), Founder, Keystone Kidspace 🔹 Matt Dorgan, Founder, Building Bridges for Brianna 🔹 Emily Seitz, Development Director, Community Progress Council Together, they shared insights on the Executive Director’s vital role in fundraising, how to empower your board and staff to confidently join the effort, and the impact of strong, collaborative leadership on development success!
