Our final two sessions of Executive Connections focused on two pillars of community impact—arts and healthcare💙 Connecting to the Arts immersed us in York’s creative core. Kelley Gibson (MY 16, NLA 19) of the Cultural Alliance and Alexa Born of The Grotto led the way as we explored the Appell Center, Marketview Arts, Creative York, and the Making Agency Artist Studios—spaces that bring our city to life through expression, storytelling, and innovation. 🎨 Connecting to Healthcare brought powerful insights from Jenny Englerth (EC 05, NLA 06, AOY 23) of Family First Health and Brian Grimm (LTP 09, MY 14, NLA 17) of United Way of York County. We explored how leaders are addressing real health challenges across our region with empathy and strategic vision. 🩺 We wrapped things up with “What’s Next After EC?”—a meaningful conversation with Leadership York’s Board President, Catherine Roque, that encouraged reflection, action, and continued connection.
