She graduated from FLY in 1990 and LTP in 2021 and joined the board in 2023. You can usually find her helping out at LTP sessions and LY events! Q: What inspired you to join the Leadership York board? A: "After completing the LTP in 2021, I knew I wanted to be apart of the organization that was able to fuel in me the drive to give back to York County. While I work for the County of York, Leadership York gave me the tools and knowledge to help others understand the importance of giving back to the community. After serving on a Leadership York committee, I was asked to join the board and knew this was where my heart was in order to make a difference. A: “I was fortunate enough to go through the Future Leaders of York (FLY) program when I was in high school. I've always admired the work LY does through FLY but also through all of the other programs. Being able to go through FLY shaped a lot about who I am today as a member of the York community, so it was my hope that by serving on the board I could make sure the next generation has access to the same amazing programs LY offers. .” Q: What is your favorite leadership quote? He graduated from Future Leaders of York in 2002, joined the board in 2018, and completed Mentorship York in 2020. Adam served as President of the Board during our 45th Anniversary in 2023-24. Q: What inspired you to join the Leadership York board? A: "Leadership York had a significant impact on my career and community service beginning in high school with Future Leaders of York. I learned about servant leadership and joining the board provided me the opportunity to give back to the community, get involved outside of my normal professional circle and help guide the trajectory of this great organization moving forward."
